LaRC is the First International Conference on Terminology, Languages, and Content Resources. It will be held on June 10th - 11th in Seoul, South Korea. The conference will provide an informal and engaging environment for discussing cutting-edge and emerging natural language processing and semantic web technologies.

Scope and motivation

With the emergence of various information systems, there have been many challenges to understand the semantics and contexts of the contents from the systems. While a variety of intelligent methods for mimicking human intelligence have been proposed, we have been still facing many challenges to overcome. The aim of this conference is to foster the state-of-the-art research in the area of terminology and language resources. Also the event is expected to focus on all aspects of natural language processing technologies and to present novel results and solutions to solve the various problems and challenges in the interdisciplinary areas. The target audience of this conference includes academia, researchers, engineers, and professionals working on the relevant topics in natural language processing, machine translation, linked open data and semantic web.

Topics of Interests

This conference invites submissions for conference presentations on any topic related to the use of terminology, language and other content resources to increase content repurposability, including but not limited to the following sub-themes:

  • interoperability and repurposability of structured content and non-structured content
